My stay at Blackhill Woods Retreat was truly rejuvenating. The peaceful country setting provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The room was spacious and immaculate, with a beautiful bathroom and an impressive selection of books. The breakfast, served right in our room, was absolutely delicious, especially the freshly baked bread from the local bakery. I enjoyed taking a leisurely stroll around the serene native woodland surrounding the house. The highlight of my stay was the incredibly comfortable and cozy bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hosts, Simon and Eilish, were welcoming and respectful of our privacy. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend this retreat to others.

I loved the thoughtful touches, such as the tea and coffee facility in the room and the spacious bathroom. the comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the delicious and healthy breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. I can't wait to return and perhaps even participate in one of their yoga sessions. Cons: Almost perfect! 😊.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We had a bit of trouble with our toilet, but the owner was quick to send a plumber to fix it. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is tucked away in the woods, providing a serene and private atmosphere.
